Some News..

From all the letters that Alma has sent us, he's given us some pretty exciting news that we would like to share with you!

He and his companion, Elder Gomez, are now Zone Leaders!

They have been moved to a new building because part of the MTC is being renovated. Hopefully he won't have to sleep in the hallway. ;-)

He really loves the native Korean missionaries, and is sad that his favorite groups of missionaries have all been leaving, but he keeps a positive attitude! "The Mandarins and the Cambodians will be missed a lot." he says.

He's making great strides with the Korean language, and gives tours of the MTC in Korean to the native elders. He also blessed the sacrament in Korean, and he will often send us sentences in Korean in his letters! It's pretty fun to try to decode his messages.

He's very excited and anxious to leave for Korea next month. But he loves the amazing firesides from the General Authorities, and he says that he has a lot of spiritual experiences. He was especially touched by a talk by Elder Holland two weeks ago.

He says that he is really tired of MTC food, so if anyone would like to send him something really amazing and yummy, that would make him very happy. :-P

We will be sure to post more as he finishes his experiences at the MTC and ventures out to the mission field!
